Aging Like Fine Wine… or at Least a Decent Boxed One

Well, folks, I made it. Another trip around the sun, another candle on the cake and another year of proving that real estate hasn’t driven me to an early retirement in a remote cabin with spotty Wi-Fi. (Yet 😉)

Thank you to everyone who sent birthday wishes—seriously, you all made my day! My phone buzzed so much I thought maybe I had finally gone viral… but no, it was just a flood of Facebook notifications reminding me that I’m officially 52. And you know what? I’ll take it!

There’s something about birthdays that makes you reflect—on the past, the future, and whether you should eat another piece of cake (spoiler: the answer is always yes).

Last year was a whirlwind of helping families buy and sell homes, navigating the ever-changing market, the chaos of buyer agency changing and answering the age-old question, “Do we really need to declutter before listing?” (Again always, Yes. Yes, you do.)

So, what do I want for my birthday this year? Oh, you sweet thing, I’m SO glad you asked! The best gift you could possibly give me is… 🥁drumroll please 🥁the opportunity to help you buy or sell a home. Shocking, right? 😂

But seriously, I love what I do, and if I can make your life easier by handling the stress of selling or buying, I’d consider that a pretty fantastic birthday present. 🎁

Now, while we’re talking about real estate (because let’s be honest, I’m always talking about real estate), the market is starting to heat up right along with our weather. That’s the best birthday present ever!

So, as I step into year 52, here’s my hope: More happy clients, more successful closings, and maybe—just maybe—someone will finally invent a stress-free moving process (hey, a girl can dream). Until then, I’ll keep doing what I deliver to do—helping people navigate the wild world of real estate, one transaction at a time.
